Today I’ve been shown this thought as I read my Bible again I see in psalm 69 giving me the thought about the floods that overflow us…

In life today you see a overflowing of sinfulness in this world sins that do not belong in this world..

I see David in this chapter in versus 1-2 that David is asking God to save him for the waters are come into his soul.

David knew sin when he saw it he was lead to commit a horrible sin with a married woman and cause the murder of her husband…

And cause a pregnancy to come about but he knew he did wrong he knew when sin overflows it takes away our good and brings in the bad so I’m lead to say beware of those floods when sin seems wonderful and great it’s no longer going to be good floods overflow to the point when there is no coming back because you have been taken by the floods of sin in your life you been swept away from Gods Glory!!!

David says he sinks in deep mire this is happening to many because the worldly lusts and worldly sins seems better than following God it’s shameful to think that God doesn’t deserve your full attention..

Friends floods will never let you stand as long as you allow them too.

But today friends David knew what he had to do to get out of those flooded waters he knew you need to come to God and trust in his salvation to help him from drowning in his sins in vs 30. David says I will Praise The name of God with a song and will magnify him with thanksgiving.

We all have a savior we can magnify and that is Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior who came to take the sins of the world upon himself he was overflowed with our sins that when he went to the cross and died the spear that pierced his brought out that flood and it went on to the earth and sank into hell where sin belongs it no longer needs to overflow upon our lives because he took those upon himself to save the world.

So today don’t let ur sin overflow you to the point where you will sink in the mire believe on Jesus Christ and be saved let him save you from drowning let him take away that flood so that you can live a life of Joy and peace AMEN.
