Today as I read my Bible in John 16:1-3 we see our Lord Jesus speaking and telling us not to offend others.

How many times a week maybe a year have you offended somebody by just speaking Christ to people?

Isn’t that what we are supposed to do get Gods word out to those that appear lost and do not know Christ?

Of coarse we are but I have witnessed that it offends people I witnessed that I was preaching one time at a nursing home in my area and a woman was there who I offended by saying the name of Jesus Christ that she got mad and wanted me to stop preaching because I feel it offended her!!

But why is it when we speak Christ that everybody all of a sudden gets offened by his name being mentioned it’s cause they do not know what he did for them they feel they got no time to listen to religion so they battle with you they constantly deny his very existence there are denominations today that preach lies saying he is just some guy who was in the Bible but didn’t do anything worth talking about and to me that blasphemy!!!

I been a Christian Preacher now 6 years and still I love saying his name even though it may offend those who think they know better than me they call me silly they call me crazy they may even call me a false preacher but I know the truth and if the truth offends then so be it!!

Here we see in vs 1. We see Jesus speaking and saying (these things have I spoken unto you,that ye should not be offended.)

When you hear the name of Jesus be not offended because he came to us at a lowly birthplace in a stable in Bethlehem of Judah during a time of a census being taken and it was a amazing night during his birth because he was spoken by of the Old Testament prophets all through the Bible.

So why be offended?

I see no point once so ever to show your offened by that did u know when Jesus was here on earth during his 3 year ministry he kept telling us the kingdom of God is to be preached to all nations?

Here in vs 2. We see this mentioned
(They shall put you out of the synagogue yea the time cometh that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service).

They think that if they kill us they do God service and let me tell you something friends that isn’t how it works that’s not doing God any service it’s showing that when your offended you rather hurt those trying to lead you to Christ to the point your like oh I’ll just kill this person because they are offending me and it will do God a service murder is a horrible sin that instantly leads us to Hell if we don’t repent and get right.

We must not be offended by the word of God because it’s our saving grace that was yes written by human hands but it was brought by the mind of God working through them to help them write what God wants us to know.

Listen did you know that in the Mideast countries Christians are usually killed because of others being offended because they spoke Jesus Christ’s name to help them know they have a savior who died for them!!

But it’s a common bases that I see in vs 3. That our Lord Jesus says (and these things will they do unto you because they have not known the Father or Me).

So you see it’s offensive to other people because they live for their sins they live for the world and have nothing to do with Christ Jesus or the Father God.

They know in their minds they are living wrong but they never once cared because it’s offensive for them to hear (hey you got a savior who came and died for you on the cross upon Calvary and rose 3 days later and won the victory over Hell,Death,and the Grave.)

Listen if that offends you maybe you need to come to Christ in your very life today maybe you need to except him as your Lord and Savior and maybe you need to have a very personal relationship with him and except his amazing sacrifice he took upon himself for you because He loved you so much you was on his mind that day your name is in the palm of his hands to show he took the punishment for your very sins and the sins of the world do not let that offend you because it is so true that I have to tell you all about friend if your reading this and you are convicted well guess what your not offended your convicted your heart is telling you hey come to Jesus because he can save you this very minute all you must do is Repent of the sins you have been committing and you are in need of Forgiveness because the name of Jesus is powerful enough to save you.

Romans 10:13. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Don’t let your offensive attitude keep you from coming to the Savior I feel today somebody who reads this needs Christ don’t let it offend you but let it Save you today AMEN.
