Psalm 133.1-3 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;

3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

Today as it looking in the Bible passages I come across this interesting thought in the book of psalms it’s a song of degrees of David.

I hear this thought as a challenge for you and me today this is going to be one of many challenges I will give on this page in the coming years as I continue my wonderful ministry given by God to Preach to the lost sheep needing to find a savior who is Jesus Christ our Lord and savior.

As I think and meditate on these verses I am absolutely thoughtful on this Blessed be that mountain!

Today I want you to think about how this psalm is laid out and why I believe the importance of blessing Gods Holy mountain and His unending kingdom.

God has a mountain and that mountain in this psalm is laid out in such an amazing way that to me it shows us an amazing person who you may ask well let’s look into this psalm.

Vs1. In this verse today I notice that unity is in importance brethren we are told that this mountain I figure is the good and pleasant place to come together and have unity in our Christian bases we are always being told how it is important to come and unite with our brothers and sisters of Christ in church and we come we enjoy the fellowship and many see the work of God being shown throughout the place and praise God that is amazing and also we see many wanting to know more of this good and pleasant words given on a mountain by just coming together in unity.

Now my question to you is 1. Are you coming in unity or do you feel your just forced to be there even though you don’t want to be there in Gods House?

Unity is important just in church but it’s important that we stand in unity with our brothers and sisters in not just this country but all around the world the mountain we will see is going to bring us all in unity and we will know the good and pleasant things that come from that Holy mountain.

Gods mountain is found in Israel it’s called the mount of Zion it is pictured in vs 2. As precious ointment that runs down upon the beard who’s beard?

Jesus Christs beard the Lord almighty his word throughout this mighty and infallible book is precious ointment that changes us from the inside out words of hope and Joy and excitement because we see a savior throughout our readings not only is this mountain like precious ointment but it is ointment running down the skirts of his garments we see Aaron mentioned but I see Jesus more in this thought we know that when Jesus was on earth in his 3 year ministry that this ointment running down the skirt of his garment is the anointing oil poured on his head by the poor woman mentioned in Luke.

Luke 7:46

43Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.

44And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.

45Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet.

46My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.

An amazing insight of this anointing of the skirt of our Lords garment down to his precious feet with ointment.

Today many need the ointment of annointing oil because they are dealing with sicknesses, life problems, and uncertainty but not many churches anymore don’t keep to that need of annointing others now don’t think me wrong here many churches that I been too annointed folks but ones I recently visit or visited does not do it because they believe that’s not scriptural now let’s show us a verse that is scriptural.

James 5:14
“Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:”

See I see scriptural proof here it’s important that we keep to our ways of doctrine I’m not saying churches are wrong but I feel if we ourselves in that beautiful mountain should keep to Gods ways of doing things keeping to his doctrines and keeping the sick our united brothers and sisters in good pleasant and undeniable health by these regulations given.

I know I’m probably going to get bashed my most by someone saying I took that out of context friends I am trying to tell you this mountain of Zion is a mountain of annointing not just for unity but for annointing as well.

But focus lastly on this last verse.

Vs 3. Notice this mountain is a mount of blessing.

It’s dew that ran down on mount Hermon a mountain that fallen angels fell onto that dew of evil that was on that mountain top ran down to the mountains of Zion where our Lord changes everything from bad to good To amazing he is the Lord who it commands it to be a blessed mountain offering us the best and very thing we call everlasting life because it’s a mount of blessing such precious thoughts I get from this chapter such amazing hope I see through David’s words because so many today need this blessed mount of many blessing because it’s his domain it’s his kingdom that shows us the precious meaning of these words blessed be that mount!!

I want you to know today that wherever you are in the world today here in America or even places like Russia,China,Africa,and even Mongolia there is a mountain we can come too and be in unity and be annointed and be blessed and all we gotta do is just trust in God know his son Jesus Christ as savior and carry that for the rest of our lives maybe you feel your not sure there’s a mountain like this blessed mountain friends that mountain is real it gives you a gift that only God can give you as a free undeniable gift it can give you everlasting life come join us on that mountain of blessing and be annointed by his love forevermore repent of your sins and be forgiven there’s still time but it’s closing fast the mountain of Zion is opened and waiting for you to come and join the united brothers and sisters in Christ come please come today and be saved AMEN!!!
