Today as I turn into my Bible and I start reading the lord has led me to the book of Ecclesiastes chapter number (1:1-4).

And I see an interesting thought about a new generation of vanities which needs to not be done because history always repeats itself in the time Solomon wrote this book he was living the wrong life he left the will of God and married many and many of woman which lead him to worship other gods a terrible way to live life.

He was led to gods of complete evil and that’s where today I see the issue on hand.

I been experiencing this chapter in such a way that helps me see a generation coming who will be just like king Solomon worshipping gods that don’t belong in the world today so let’s delve into this message that God has lead me to shall we.

We first see king Solomon mention in the first verse here.

Vs 1. The words of the preacher,the son of David king in Jerusalem.

We see Solomon here calls himself a preacher and He lets us know he is the son of king David and he is in Jerusalem.

Now when we think about this today we wonder how was Jerusalem back in his time because Jerusalem in modern day is completely different from then but there is something I see in common from the time of Solomon in the modern city.

And this modern day there is something I want to point out to us today and that is the worship of other gods.

There is gods who do not belong in the city because just in the days of Solomon he instituted gods of many nations around the land one of the worst being the god Moloch the one people sacrificed there children to such terrible horrible things I see today not just in Israel but around the world that false worship of child sacrifice is still going on today by people saying it’s my body it’s my decision then turn around and have an abortion.

This is pure evil and needs to stop go ahead and give me hate mail it’s okay but the truth really does hurt don’t it.

Why is it that the world is doing this today?

Because king Solomon instituted it so the world decided to keep it going even to this generation and I know if the Lord terries the next generation will continue it as well.

Vs 2. We see that he calls it vanity of vanities saith the preacher vanity of vanities all is vanity.

What is vanity you may ask here let me give you Hebrew meaning.

vapour, breath.

A vanity deals with vapour did you know life is just a vapour your remembered one day but forgot the next?

King Solomon calls life vanity because he thought when he instituted child sacrifice in Jerusalem it would be forgotten when we was gone but guess what as I said history always repeats itself time and time again!!!

There is great darkness in the air in todays world we see it on the news we see it in our families we see it in our schools such darkness which is that vanity we are here one day and gone the next I know it’s such evil taking over the land.

And we are to blame for letting it go on we are like Solomon allowing it to go on.

Vs 3. What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun?

What does this modern generation profit from such darkness and why is it okay to just let every labour be forgotten as it goes under the sun that means we just let it be forgotten about we don’t trouble ourselves with it we just overlook this generation to let them continue their evil ways because it’s the right thing to do right?

We’ll just to let you know it’s wrong to overlook such things it’s sin and you and I need to realize that we need to get back to the word of God stop overlooking evil and come to the Lord and say Lord forgive us for overlooking these things open our eyes help us condemn these vanities and help be and good influence to this generation.

Because in vs 4. It says one generation passeth away and another generation cometh but the earth abideth forever.

Our generation is coming to a close and there is another generation that will take over our spot and we need today be the influence of good and teach them about the savior who came and died for them!!

To save the world that is so full of sin and that doesn’t believe but mocks Gods word and anybody who teaches these truths.

King Solomon might have turned his eyes on things but let us today be better and not turn a blind eye on the sins of the generations to come help us teach them the world is full of evil but you can be better and all you got to do is stand firm on the word of God don’t let sin overtake our children and make them turn into the monster that harms others that says it’s okay there is no God!!

Let us be the influence for the light of the World the Lord Jesus Christ don’t stand idley by and let abortion happen no no no!!!

Come to the person who is wanting that and tell them about the savior who can save them and encourage them to not have this evil done so we can save the next generation and hope for the good that they will raise them in the admonition of the Lord and Love them and never let anybody hurt them because Jesus loves all the little children all the little children world if they are black,white,red,brown,or even if they are purple Jesus loves them be a generation that Follows God Please protect and nurture your family from all the evil help them be a light in the darkness to make everything bright and help them see their potentials through God to make the world a better place AMEN!!!
