Today as I read this undefiled Holy book of God's word I'm brought to passage that makes me think.

In the book of 1st Chronicles I'm shown a passage in chapter 9 in vs 1.

This is about how Israel and Judah were reckoned by genealogies these people are reckoned by genealogies.

Today I wanna focus on why genealogies are important to start I don't know anything about my own because I've been told for years I had no cousins or relatives on my dad's side of the family but low and behold that was all lies but to this day I still know nobody in my dad's side which I may never know but it's okay.

But I see many who is very knowledgeable about their own families and things like that but here I see about Israel is being (reckoned) to consider or think something is true, to estimate or calculate something, or to expect or rely on something.

This brings me too this thought when we as sinners who are full of sin and live in such a way that when you think about being reckoned you find this we need to be saved.

Being saved is being reckoned of the past sins we have committed to make us cleansed of the past and brought into the love of God.

It's being forgiven and brought into the knowledge in God's will to make us repent of every single thing we have ever done that made us separated from Almighty God Amen.

I was reckoned when I realized I was a sinner on my way to hell so I was brought to a point that I needed saved.

Isn't it amazing to know Israel was reckoned by their genealogies because their family tree was filled with sin filled people generation after generation like today there are people living generation after generation in sin not coming to the point they need saved by the precious blood of Jesus Christ.

I hope today families will realize they need Christ Jesus and they will be reckoned to ask for forgiveness and they will repent and be saved it makes things so much better to know we are forgiven when we get reckoned it's disappointing when we don't come to Christ for his saving power so come and be saved today don't let the sins of your past members continue put an end to all that and live Holy in God.
